May 1 at
6:30 pm in this room again (room 145) Parent Meeting for the Italy/Greece Trip.
This will be a time for new sign ups and parents to ask questions. An
experienced chaperone and guest teacher, Mr. Duncan will be present to answer
specific questions as well.
Homework: Read Rupert Brook’s
poems: “The Dead” and “The Soldier”
1.
Identify the
theme in each poem.
2.
Identify three
poetic devices in each poem and explain how each device contributes to the
theme of each poem.
