Homework: None, but if you've been absent any day this week, be sure to read Act I in Romeo and Juliet.
You can visit Shmoop on my Resources Page and get a modern day summary of the play to aide you in your understanding if necessary.
Middle Age Test Takers: Make Up Tests--No Later than THIS THURSDAY!
***Tomorrow: You will write your Act I Assessment! This particular assessment will be a paragraph summarizing the key elements of Act I. As discussed in class today, consider focusing on the key characters that are introduced in this act and their relationships with each other. You will want to make sure that your summary contains a solid introductory topic sentence and a concluding sentence that ties back to your main topic.
You will have forty minutes to write this assessment; you will want to take all that time as it's a heavy weighted grade, and the team with the highest test percentage wins our first awarding of ducats!

Read the background information and "The Wife of Bath's Tale" by Geoffrey Chaucer on page 772-784 and answer the following questions:
"Identifying Facts" 1-4
