  • Please read the Gandhi article and "mark the text" for information that answers wh questions as in who, what, where, when, and why--In other words, through your notes, have a very clear idea as to what the article is about and be ready to discuss tomorrow.
  • Please also correct mistakes in your "Imperialism" free-write (last post contains the prompt if you still need to write it)
  • Here is sort of a key of my symbols for errors:

To correct mistakes, rewrite the sentence below your FreeWrite correcting the error on the same paper as your freewrite or on a separate paper stapled to your rough draft and turn in tomorrow.

Symbols:
RO= Run on (fix with period or semicolon)
CS=Comma Splice (fix with comma and conjunction, period, semicolon)
Three lines under a letter stand for capitalize.
A circled sp stands for spelling
WW=Wrong Word
Subj/Verb=Verb must match the subject (either singular or plural)

Empty circles=needs some punctuation—which you must decide
